Hey guys!!!! Whew, I've been so busy today getting ready for our neighborhood St. Patrick's Day party. I did manage to make time to get pics of my mani and post, whoo hoo! This will be short though sorry, because I have to wake Jack up and go run more errands.
Hope you guys have a great day and night!!!
I started with Nubar Reclaim for the base of my St. Patty Day mani
I then used Claire's 14 Karats gold polish and my Bundle Monster plate BM19 for the polka dots.
Beautiful! I've been lemming Reclaim for a while. Happy St Paddy's day!
ReplyDeletehappy st Patrick's day, lovely nails :D
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!! I just swapped away my reclaim! :D

ReplyDeleteI'm bit late with this comment... nevertheless wanted you to know that I'm sooo glad you're back! Always loved your blog and your manis (imo they're the absolut best out there in the "blogosphere"). Always have a couple of happy minutes when a read a new post of you. (my husband finds it wired when I "yeay" at my computer - it's just nails, he says...in that regard he could use some lessons from your great husband!)
ReplyDeleteSo, as a big fan, I'm happy you're better and also that you returned to blogging!
Best wishes all the way from Germany!
Luli
I love it, I need reclaim.
ReplyDeletePretty!! I used Nubar Reclaim for my mani too, also stamped a four leaf clover in gold as an accent.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. Kind of like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I have the best idea ever! For the release of Hunger Games on Friday do a mani inspired by the movie! I'm just mad the midnight premiere is sold out at my local theater. :( but who cares, I still will see it!
ReplyDeleteI just got Reclaim from Amazon, this makes me excited to wear it!
ReplyDeleteI own and adore Nubar Reclaim. It's unique in my collection. I always get compliments when I have it on. I wore it this past week leading up to St. Patty's and thought I might wear it for today. I had no time and no light to get into my stash well enough to really get at all my greens. I needed to wear something on my nails for today that could carry a # of days beyond today and not look like I have my St. Patty's day nails on - a look I HATE - just like Halloween nails the day after. I ended up with the new line of Revlon Colorstay in Bonsai on my nails. This is a similar shade only toned down to CG Cha, Cha, Cha. It's a good one as is this new Revlon Colorstay formula. I have been able to pull off 9 or 10 days on many of the shades I picked up. This week it will be on sale at Wallgreens for buy 1 full price (around $8 - 8.50 depending where you buy it) - get second 50% off AND there is a coupon for getting $1 off every bottle of Revlon on top of that - so get a couple bottles and give it a try. I find on me, it does not need the Colorstay base and top coat. However it did not work at all with Orly Bonder - it popped up and off like fake nails. I used my Orly Nail Armor which I like a lot and SV top coat.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Reclaim is so pretty!

I really love this color combo!
ReplyDeleteI like this color too.I'll have to get it also. Has anyone every done a cool mani with the new China Glaze colors. Turned up turquoise neon, kinetic candy or gothic lolita. It would be cool to see if anyone else has used these in a color combine or used them at all. I just purchased them at Easter.

hope you like it!
LOVE your mani's, and I'm totally buying 2 colors that you've done as we speak. (Material Girl, and Chunky Holo Black. LOVE) Anyway, on this mani, how in the FIRE do you do those dots using a Konad (Bundle, whichever) Anytime I try to do a full nail stamp, half the polish peels off and borks up the design something awful. I've tried several different polish brands, and tried every combo of method I can think of, from putting 2 layers of polish on the plate, to not scraping off so much, to literally instantly moving from the plate / stamper to my nail and NOTHING works. How do you do it?? There has to be some trick I'm missing.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work! <3
WOW,green is my favorite color. The post I wrote recently is a green dress. <3 Love your blog very much as It give me some great ideas for my nail fashion. Thx very much.:0
