Revlon Popular = A New Fave!

I know I'm late on this discovery, but I'm thrilled to have found it. I stopped at Ulta last night to pick up some SV and just look around, and while looking for Revlon Whimsical, which by the way, were all gone :( I spotted Revlon Popular. You all know, I love my pinks, especially a very light baby pink, but combine it with some silver glitter, and you now have a new fave polish of mine. For this mani, I did 3 coats with a coat of SV.

  3. I just bought this version of it too. My only issue with it is that it was re-released with a different name. Boo on Revlon for trying to trick us. (It doesn't work ;) haha.)

Your nails look beautiful! Hopefully Whimsical will find its way to you soon.

  12. I have the original Starry Pink and it is one of my favorite colors of all time!!

PS - I live in Collegeville, if I ever come across a Whimsical at a store around here, I'll hide it somewhere and let you know where I hid it so you can go get it! :)

  14. Yes, this is a Starry Pink dupe! Starry Pink was issued with the Gucci Westman collection for Revlon and was gorgeous. The black jelly-fuschia glitter color from the same GW collection is also a repromote (and is a dupe of Deborah Lippman Bad Romance). This color is awesome, there is nothing else like it.

  28. I have find whimsical at Kmart and then Rite Aid. Rite Aid is currently going through their spring cosmetic reset. Whimsical is in the wall set if it has already been reset. I've done three resets and found it at two. Popular is also on a display for rite aid. Hope this helps. :-)

    1. Oh YAY!! Thanks!! For the SV shrinkage, make sure you are always using it on a wet mani, and if needed you can wrap your tips with SV as well.
