Sorry for the screaming headline, but OMG, I'm convinced my middle finger hates me, I mean really hates me! Just as it's finally growing out, I ram it into the corner of our coffee table!!! I never break any other nail, just that one. Grrrr.....
*deep breathe* Okay, anyways, for this mani I used China Glaze Tree Hugger, which has been in my untrieds forever and China Glaze Cherish for the Konad.
Here is 2 coats of Tree Hugger, I love the green shimmer in this so much.
and for the Konad
Gorgeous green! Green and blue are my favorite colors for polish.
ReplyDeleteI always break the nail on my middle finger too :(
ReplyDeleteCG Tree Hugger is also in my untrieds, don't really know why since I seem to reach for greens all the time looks like I'll have to dig it out :)
Me too I have a rebel middle finger's nail (the right one) * argh *
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color.
ReplyDeleteI have a broken nail right now.Guess which one?
LOL.
This is a beautiful green for Spring!
ReplyDeleteHave you done a tut on how you fix those broken nails? Maybe it's not that amazing to anyone but me --but #@!$#, I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteMy middle and ring finger on my left hand are the ones that always break. I have no idea why, it seems like I should get more breaks on my dominant hand.
ReplyDeleteThe green is beautiful and for me it's usually my thumb, both of them even broke in the same week! My thumbs are the evil ones =(
ReplyDeleteThanks you guys!! I'm soooo glad I'm not alone in this cursed middle finger epidemic! I hope it's over soon.
ReplyDeleteCarolina, LOLOLOL, well atleast we all have eachother, and our PITA middle finger nails!
Jennifer, good point!! Why is this?
*sigh* - know what you mean, both of my thumb nails hate me. Just as they start to get some length they always crack at the lowest possible point :(
ReplyDeleteOn a higher note, very pretty mani :)
Aw, babe girl I'm sorry you broke your nail. They are still gorgeous but I know it can be a pain. Tree Hugger is gorgeous on you :)
ReplyDeletesorry about your nail, my angry nail is my index nail (it hates me).
ReplyDeletehopefully it'll grow back soon, but your manis are still gorgeous in the mean time ;)
Haha.. I also always break my middle fingernail!
ReplyDeleteLike the green color.
Beautiful! Looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely light colour for spring! I must admit, I'm getting fed up of darker, winter colours now. I need something bright, maybe neon! Haha
ReplyDeleteTree hugger is a nice colour but i think would not look nice on me i prefer dark greens :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color! One of mine always seems to break when they all get to that "perfect length"
ReplyDeleteI have the exact same problem! It is *always* my middle finger nail that breaks. It is also the first with tipwear, chips, or any other manicure disaster. Maybe we use it to much? ;)
ReplyDeleteMy rebel nails are the one next to the middle finger (not the ring finger!), on both hands! the refuse to grow and if the do grow they break! Or they are the only one's with tipwear or chips... it angers me! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks you guys, sooo much! I'm just glad you all don't think it's completely hideous, lol.
ReplyDeleteAngela, Haha, how come last night I picked up a neon, and for some reason put it back. I am def in the need of bright colors!
how did you do that design on your nails?
ReplyDeleteKristin, that was done by nail stamping, aka Konading. I have a tutorial up above underneath my header, in the Tutorial Tab :P
ReplyDeletegorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful green polish! Don't have it yet but it's at the top of my wish list now :D
ReplyDeleteLooks great as always :) I'm loving this green!
ReplyDeletePretty! Very spring-like! : D
ReplyDeleteI like to use nail glue to hold my broken nail together. That way, it doesn't look any different when I polish over it, and once it grows out, I just clip the "dead" part of the nail right off. I'm sorry for your broken nail, it must be frustrating.
Great combination - totally frustrating when you can't get all your nails to stay nice for over 2 days xoxox
ReplyDeleteI always break my thumb. :)) Anway I love your nails. This green looks great on you, I like it more with stamping. And btw I gave you an award on my blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with the middle finger nails? For the past 2 months I have broken both of mine several times. Just as they grow out and match the length of the rest of my nails, they both break off! UGH!
ReplyDeleteo0o Such a pretty mani , soft and simple. Its a good color to tone down your hands so as not to bring attention to the break. Honestly though you can barely tell. Lovely job and thanks for following me! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks girls!!!
ReplyDeleteCammy, yeah I have done that before, but this took a chunk out of the side :(
Ivana, awww, thank you sooo much!!
Foxycontin, I KNOW!!! It's making me sooo mad!
MorePolishPlz, OMG, thank you so much, that means a lot, I was just worried it would bother you guys!
Love it. If you have Essie Sew Psyched, try it with China Glaze Cherish...it's a great combo.
ReplyDeleteBeata, I do own Sew Psyched & that combo sounds great!!
ReplyDeleteLove how subtle yet unique this is!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I wanted to ask you if you have any tips on how to use Bundle Monster plates because I´ve just received them and I can´t get them to work!!! it´s soooo much easy with Konad for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance!!!
Marta
Thanks you guys!!
ReplyDeleteMarta, hmmmm, thats weird, I use the same technique with the Bundle Monsters that I do with Konad. I have heard that some had issues making the images transfer, and they would take a file to the stamper to rough it up a little.
Cool I use Moyou instead of Konad, but I guess they work the same. You stamp it so perfectly! Mine always gets messed up somehow.
