Okay, I still have sooo many mani's waiting to be seen by you guys. I guess I do, do a lot of manis, lol. I love this one though, and it just had to jump in line. I used the brancd 10, color #415 for the pinkish base, and Sinful's Black on Black for the Konad and the tips. I cannot stress how much Scotch tape is your friend for french manis.
Absolutely stunning! i have this plate but never thought to use it like this xxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! SUPER PRETTY! But with what did you get thouse lovely flowers on?
ReplyDeleteThanks Nic, you should def try it!
ReplyDeleteThe lace is actually done by Konad, it's a nail stamping system. You have plates with designs in them, and you place your polish over them, then scrape it off, and stick your stamper over top. The stamper picks up the design. Then you just stamp it onto your nail :P
LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteOh Chloe... I love this.
ReplyDeletePerfect! You're a lean, mean, Scotch-taping machine! I love all your tape manis. So creative, yet so simple. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI ♥ this! It looks like the flowers are floating or suspended in clear liquid... Niiiice.
ReplyDeleteWhich did you do first the stamping or the french...lovely :D
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!!!
ReplyDeletermc - I did the stamping on the nail, then the tips :P

ReplyDeleteThanks you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteJewelrybead - Hey I recognize your MUA name! Thank you so much for following! I wwill def check your blog out!
I love your stuff! I've mentioned you on my blog so check it out! Also I wanted to ask, how do you prevent the tape peeling off the base colour? And how do you perfect the tip so its smooth? x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Sana for the shoutout! To keep the base color from peeling up, you need to stick the tape to your palm a few times, and this takes some of the tapes stickyness away :P The whole tip trick is really just learning your tape. Once you get the hang of how sticky or non-sticky you need it to be, and also making sure your base color, is not wet, but also not 100% hard and dry. Once you get the hang of these, you'll be good to go. It does take some trial and error. Then I just smooth the whole mani out with a coat of SV :P
ReplyDeletePerfect <33
ReplyDeleteLindoooo!!!! Perfeito!!!! Parabéns pela criatividade!
ReplyDeleteRachel (Brasil)
I love your ideas!!
ReplyDeleteIf is not too much to ask, can you please give the plate number of this design?
Thanks,
I know you say you never have to clean up your nails because you have been doing it for so many years you really don't make any mess. But how do you keep the stamp from getting onto your skin? Or do you and you cleaned it up before you snapped the picture?
