1st REAL attempt at Water Marbling

Okay, so I've played around before with 1 nail here and there, but never actually sat down, watched a tutorial video, and tried it, the proper way, lol. I decided to try it, since an awesome follower, Crystal, suggested I do. So thanks Crystal!! I didn't take photos as I went, because I was just trying it, to see if I could even half way do it. Maybe next time I will, but there are TONS of youtube videos out there to show you how. For this I first did a base coat of Sinful's Black on Black, and for the marbling colors I used the same black and China Glaze's Re-Fresh Mint. I just might have to try another one these soon!!

  9. Thanks ladies!!! I have to say, I was scared to really try it too. When I had played around before, trying it with one nail, I FAILED big time. But actually watching the videos, and doing a base color first really helped!

  20. This looks great! when water marbling came to my attention - no one used a base colour first their tutorials, I'm trying to branch out with my nail-art and just copied your patchwork mani yesterday - when i try marbling i will be using a base colour.

than you so much for sharing all your cool ideas; love the patchwork mani, the squares and the lazer one with the thin strips of tape!!!!!1
