Stamping with Sally....

Good morning ladies!! This is a mani I did last week, pre-break, I'm still so mad, lol. For this I used Sinful's Black on Black for the base, and a Sally Hansen Color Quick Chrome polish pen, in Turquoise Chrome, for the image. I used the Bundle Monster plate BM20. These Sally Chrome polish pens, work GREAT for stamping!!

  15. Ooooh, that is gorgeous! This blog is always my first stop for mani ideas :) Is it wrong that you make me want to copycat every single mani you do on here? :D I've restrained myself from those SH pens up until now, but I'm seriously going to go look for this turquoise one now thanks to this post :)

  19. This is beautiful! Do you have any suggestions on keeping nail polish on longer? I find when I let my nails grow out a bit my nail polish chips more frequently!

  20. Thanks ladies!!!

Rachel, the regular polish pens might not work so good, but the Chrome ones, are perfect!!

ThatsSOfresh. Don't they work awesome!! I just wish they were a tad cheaper :(

Anonymous, Nail stamping, is when you have an image plate, the most well known are Konad and Bundle Monster. Each disk has about 5 images engraved in them. You take polish and cover the image you want to use, then with a scraper, you can buy this or they come in kits, scrape over the image, removing the excess polish. You then have a stamper, that has a rubber end, and stamp over the image on the plate. The polish sticks the to stamper, and you then take the stamper, and stamp it onto your nail.

Stephanie, I agree, I just wish their full nail images were a tad bigger like the Konads.

AC, haha, feel free to do all my designs, that's why I do this.

Heather, I wish I had some great tips, but I don't wear my manis long, lol. I do know that even wrapping your tips when you polish helps a lot, and it's just trial and error with base coats and top coats.

  21. is the stamping easy? and thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. you are so talented.

  22. It really is a lot easier then I ever thought it would be. They key is to find polishes that are 1 coaters, or buy the special Konad polishes. It really just takes practice, and I prefer the full nail images. I still have a hard time lining up the single images, lol.

  33. I LOVED this look when I saw it a few days ago. Today at CVS I saw the SH Chrome polishes 75% off so I bought all of them, including the turquoise. So tonight I did this manicure with the same plate (which I'm so glad I have!!) but instead of using black I used Essie Mink Muffs and I ADORE how it looks! Just wanted to let you know and say thanks!
