Since about a month ago, I've wanted Hard Candy Sky. I saw it posted on MUA, and knew I had to have it. Well, I rarely get to Wal-mart, but when I recently went, I saw it, and snatched it up. It is such a gorg baby blue, with hidden blue shimmer, that I had a HORRIBLE time capturing in pics. The application was a tad tricky, but worth it. When using this, I had to do quick, light strokes, and this was 2 coats. For the tips I used China Glaze Millenium.
really nice colour :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely. I wonder is it a bit like Chanel Riva or is it lighter . The silver tips work great.
ReplyDeleteHow Come ever polish looks amazing on you! You have to do a tutorial on how you paint your nails.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely........mine just doesn't look the same!
DeleteErika (my sister) just has the most amazing skin tone and nail shape--that's why every polish looks perfect on her! Erika, i think Hard Candy Sky is the Mod About You of blues!
ReplyDeleteThe silver and blue remind me of a fancy ball gown. : D
ReplyDeleteAww I love this colour!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on hitting 500 followers and counting :)
My goodness! The tips aren't black!
ReplyDeleteI love that color & the combination. I agree with Let them have Polish, it is a very Cindarella-y look.
Such a pretty blue, and AWESOME with the silver french tip! love it!
ReplyDeleteI have Sky too,but I never thought about doing silver tips! I will definitely have to try it :D
ReplyDeleteThanks girls!!
ReplyDeleteDoo, wait...what?!?!?! You don't own any light blue polishes! You must fix that STAT lol
Frances, lol. I know I'm shocked too, lol. For some reason I just felt silver would go better
I have this color and LOVE it. I was "thisclose" to doing this color last night but went w/ grey instead. From what I've seen on line it's SUPER close to the Chanel, which I am WAY to cheap to purchase lol
ReplyDeleteErin, yeah I've heard it's close, cause I too am soooo cheap, lol!!
ReplyDeleteSo squishy-pretty. I like the silver tips for a change.
ReplyDeleteThanks ABOP!
ReplyDeleteLovely designs. I have always used scotch tape for my french manicures, for me it works much better than regular french mani stencils
ReplyDeleteOh me too, for years. My nails have always been sort of square, so the regular french guides never fit mine :)
ReplyDeletewhat color is the blue/brand nice ?
ReplyDeleteSo I've been trying to find China Glaze Millenium and I can't find it, they have other silverish ones but not that one. I love it, any idea where I might find it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, sleek design of nails!
